Some comments on a comment

I believe that Ma and John are walking the path with you. And I bet that John is reading every sign post you pass.

My brother, Carl, left this comment on yesterday’s post.  It immediately brought tears to my eyes.  As some of you know, my mother passed a few months ago, and John, my step father, almost ten years ago.  What many of you don’t know is that they were full timers back in the 80’s when there weren’t quite so many of us on the road.

They spent ten years on the road pulling their 30’ Avion travel trailer.  And travel they did!  John was famous for stopping for every historical marker.  He was also a gifted photographer, and those interests have rubbed off on me.  I always regret it when I can’t stop to read one of those markers.  :)  So, yes, if such things are possible, I too believe that Ma and John are walking the path with me.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I have been battling the wifi difficulties.  It’s not much of a battle since there’s nothing I can do about it, but hope it gets fixed.  I’ll be trying to post this entry in the morning since there seems to be some connectivity for a change.  It really is hit and miss lately.  :(

Emma’s cyber boyfriend, Riggs, has asked for a few more photos of her, so here you go Riggs!  There’s nothing like a good roll in the grass to get rid of those pesky flies that descended on us yesterday!

I’ve also been enjoying these peaceful views out my front window.  The snow is almost gone from the mountain peaks surrounding Red Rock RV Park.  (Live Writer has now suddenly decided to insert paragraph indentations…Ack!! Sometimes technology is frustrating.)

Can’t have a post without ending it with a few hummers.  :)  I’m trying to take http://thebayfieldbunch.com/ advice and focus on the eye of the bird, but have you ever tried to focus on the tiny eye of a moving object??
_MG_2466Thanks for stopping by ….talk to you later,  Judy
